The Ink Job is an one woman studio located in Athens, Greece. I create contemporary and modern accessories full of color and texture that feel spontaneous. Everything is designed, printed and sewn by hand. I design items that you can use all day long with small artisan details. There's something a bit rebellious in that, I think.
Inspiration behind the brand is an open dialogue with the city I live in. Athens has a certain energy, an excitement, a constant feeling of surprise. What I hope to share here is that exact feeling of being able to express ourselves in a playful, effortless way.
All of my work emphasizes natural handmade materials and small production pieces. Every piece of fabric is either painted or printed by hand with permanent colours that are washable. That is why each of my creations is completely unique and one of a kind. Every piece of fabric is sewn by me and my loyal Pfaff sewing machine. I trully believe that "handmade" actually means "a piece of you".
I love fashion and a good design. I love coffee and books. I love running around and letting my mind wander. Surely I am an overthinker but it kind of makes me creative. And creativity is the only way I know.
